Canal junction

Birmingham and Fazely Canal, Birmingham

To the left is the Malt House pub and the Austin Court conference centre. To the right, and out of sight, is the National Indoor Arena. Ahead is the junction of the Birmingham and Fazely Canal with the Birmingham Main Line Canal, known as Old Turn Junction, and, beyond that, the buildings of Brindley Place.

I agree with others, this is all the better for being B&W.

FANTASTIC shot of the watery reflections, the marvelous old buildings, the barge... works exceptionally well in B&W. Love it! VVV

Wonderfully done in B&W John! Is that the same bridge that Martin has posted? V
Hope you all had fun! :)

mono rather suits this view somewhat covering up the slight mismatches in old and new brickwork and keeping the harder edge of the canals pre-gentrification
