High altar and presbytery

Tewkesbury Abbey

A rework of an older image giving a wider angle view of the high altar. Taken with the Nikon D3 and Nikkor 14-24 mm lens. I don't own either now. A camera and lens combination that could produce great photos but you needed a fork lift truck to carry them around.

Nikon D3 ,Nikkor AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8G ED
1/60s f/2.8 at 15.0mm iso1800 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

This place is simply exquisite. I love the pastel feeling to the scene, again not what I would expect here. I do know what you mean about the forklift! V.

Whoa, oodles of colour! A forklift sounds like a great idea, it saves walking too :0)

hmm...I wonder if there are fork-lift trucks on ebay. This does add a welcome amount of peripheral context over the recent shot as well as present the feel of coming up for communion for those who do
