Birmingham Cathedral

Birmingham is the UK's second largest city but it only became a large city during the 1800s due to the industrial revolution. It does not have a large cathedral. The parish church, St.Philip's Church was made into a cathedral only in 1905. This church was built in the early 1700s with Thomas Archer as the architect. Archer had studies in Italy and the design reflects that. There are four impressive Edward Burne-Jones windows inside.
