Kootenay National Park – British Columbia

Kootenay National Park is located in southeastern British Columbia. It is approximately 543 square miles in size and includes part of the Canadian Rockies. The town of Radium Hot Springs also developed and hosts a hot springs bath facility that is part of the park.

This relatively small park is adjacent to Banff National Park which made it easy to travel to from where our RV Caravan was staying. It is a picturesque park where the mountains and the turquoise-colored glacial Kootenay River combine to create some beautiful scenic landscapes.
