Outer Banks – North Carolina

Images of Outer Banks – Eastern North Carolina, taken in August 2022.

Most of the Outer Banks of North Carolina is protected by the Cape Hatteras National Seashore and the Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge but there are areas, besides the many towns and fishing villages, which are as interesting and beautiful as some of the protected areas. This gallery is a snapshot of some of those places to include two nearby lighthouses.
