Some of the sites in and around Paducah Kentucky, which sits at the confluence of the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers. This relatively small town of approximately 25,000 people is home to the National Quilt Museum, and in the 1950s was selected as a site for a uranium enrichment plant, closed in 2013, which is currently in a decontamination process. The Wall to Wall historical murals decorate the floodwall along the riverfront which today protects the city from destruction like that which occurred in 1937 when the river crested at over sixty feet above flood level.
