Crowds collect in the desert when it snows in Tucson Arizona. Snow falls on the Catalina and Rincon Mountains north and east of Tucson virtually every year but when it happens in the valley it is a big local event. So when I drove to Saguaro National Park, passing through Tucson Mountain Park, I was not alone. February 22, 2019 will be one of those days that people remember as a “Snow Day” in Tucson Arizona.
