Harley Davidson Museum – Wisconsin

I met up with Illinois childhood friend and his wife Deb west of Chicago where we both stayed in a local RV Park. They pulled their camper from Georgia and I of course have been driving all around the US all summer. Our prime directive, besides getting together for a visit, was to take a pilgrimage to Wrigley Field for a Chicago Cubs game. However, prior to our trip to Wrigley we drove up to Milwaukee Wisconsin to visit the Harley Davidson Museum. Beside the fact that we were Chicago Bears fans behind enemy lines, in green bay packer territory, the museum was a fascinating side trip. It was a great overview of the history of the original American motorcycle and we had the added treat of being there the weekend of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) rally.
