Sea Turtle Center / Hospital - Florida

With the motto “Rescue – Rehab – Release” the Sea Turtle Center / Hospital on Marathon is on call to take care of any sea turtles in distress in the Florida Keys area. Established in 1986 in an old motel, the organization is a non-profit that is available 24 hours a day to rescue sick and injured turtles ( http://www.turtlehospital.org/ ).

Touring the facility it was obvious how engaged and dedicated the staff is and it was heartening to see the results of the good work they are doing.
