Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park – North Rim - Colorado

After a scenic two and a half hour drive around the Black Canyon of the Gunnison I ended up at the north rim where the views are no less stunning than on the south rim. Here I was able to better view the Island Peaks as well as more of the awe inspiring sheer rock cliffs. Again one had to trust the railings at each "overlook"…never has the word been used in a more truthful manner!
