It’s been a long, busy 9 months!

After retiring in April I started planning my move to Tucson Arizona and my retirement life; I visited Virgin Islands National Park ( https://pbase.com/jfp_photo/2015_virgin_is ) in April and took a month off during the summer to visit all 8 National Parks in Alaska
( https://pbase.com/jfp_photo/2015_ak_np ). After returning from that spectacular trip I had to get busy getting rid of most of my worldly possessions and selling my house which was completed by the end of September. I would leave Atlanta on October 5th but not before traveling to the Chicago area ( https://pbase.com/jfp_photo/2015_chicago ) with my childhood friend David for a trip where we would visit the place where we grew up and see the Cubs ( https://pbase.com/jfp_photo/2015_cubs_cards ) and Bears play and go to South Bend to see Georgia Tech play Notre Dame ( https://pbase.com/jfp_photo/2015_gt_nd_fb_day )...all in three days! Epic!

So the plan going forward is to travel the US visiting as many National Parks and Monuments as possible in my newly acquired RV (39 foot Itasca Meridian; Freightliner Chassis with 330 HP Caterpillar Diesel engine).
