Yellowstone National Park - West, Wyoming

The west side of Yellowstone National Park is one of the most active Geyser Basins in the world. There are some incredible sites in this area including the huge Grand Prismatic Spring and the Excelsior Geyser which has not had a full eruption since early in the 20th century but at that time regularly reached 300 feet high. Also in this area are the constantly erupting Fountain and Clepsydra Geysers along the Fountain Paint Pot Trail.
