Images of Grand Teton National Park in northwest Wyoming taken in July 2011.
The long trip from Rocky Mountain National park took me through the heart of Wyoming over some very lonely roads, through some very desolate areas. I did meet one person along the way, a Wyoming Highway Patrolman who was kind enough to stop me just to say “hello”. I spent the first night of my trip about an hour from the park and made my way in the next morning where I was rewarded with clear skies and bright sunshine, perfect weather for viewing the amazing Grand Tetons. While there I stayed at the Flagg Ranch located north of the park and just south of Yellowstone, my next destination.
The only stop light for a hundred miles…soon afterwards I would find the only Highway patrolman…
