* "Full-Color Reproductions by the Million: Paintings and pictures once could not be reproduced except by hand copying; couldn't be printed at all. Today, photo-engraving makes high-speed printing in full colors a practical art based on the fact that three primary colors – red, yellow and blue – will form all others. Three photographs are taken through color filters. Then engravings are made from each negative. In the press the three are printed in the proper inks, one after the other, and the combined impression complete the picture . . . "
