These are a few shots from my trip to Maui in November, 2005. Please excuse the poor quality of the disposable camera. Overall, I was disappointed in Maui. I heard it was such a beautiful place, but that is in isolated spots, such as at the peak of Haleakala, or the few over-developed sand beaches (most of the coastline is rock). Everything in between is a mix of litter and poverty. I came the closest I've ever been to being mugged on Maui. I had fun, but I can't imagine going back.
