The Tall ships race 2011 started from Waterford , Ireland last Sunday July 3rd . I have tried to give some names etc where I can - but all details are available on Tall Ships website http://www.waterfordtallshipsrace.ie/the-race/the-tall-ships/ . Lots of other details too . I decided to show photos in chronological order - so first photos show ships coming up the river from Waterford and later ones at sea .I started taking photos at Ballyhack , Co wexford .The ships were led upriver by an Irish naval vessel - and the start was off Hook head at 4pm . Weather all day was very good .
ps - altho Exif some shows 2010 - it is actaully 2011 race .
