Yes - the Sigma is better for colour etc - its just the rebel and the all in one lens IS is handy when in a rush !!. Must give the Sigma a bit more ue in town etc - especailly on the fine days .
Generally a decent set of images Jim .... but you know me .... as regards colour. This one does work well - simple and effective. If I had to sum up my basic feelings (being of coursed biased) colour from Bayer sensors simply looks digitally produced, whether left in colour or converted to B+W. But then, that's just my opinion and it is up to each individual to decide for themselves what they want. :-)
