Your B+W Jim are, for my personal taste so ignore if you like, a bit too dramatic. Clouds can be impressionable when "overcooked" but they always look a bit too dramatic. However, as said, you should do what you prefer and I am only making a personal observation. You clearly capture some good cloud formations. It could be that the sensor in the Canon does not always enable good conversion to B+W due its tendency to be a bit contrasty to start with. You might find that using ISO 100 would give you slightly better RAW files, in terms of later processing but as stated, you should decide for yourself as making pictures is a personal choice and always should be.
