Kinglets

Kinglets are the smallest birds in eastern North America after the hummingbirds. There are two species in North American, the Golden-crowned Kinglet and the Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Both species are continuously active and constantly in motion, making them very difficult to photograph. They feed on tiny insects found in the tips of branches and bark, and are often seen hovering next to tree branches while gleaning insects from the foliage.
