Terracotta Army 兵马俑

The Terracotta Army is an ancient army made of Terracotta. Dating back to 210 BC, it was a part of the Mausouleum of the Qin Shi Huang (the first Emperor of Qin), who unified China for the first time in the history. Qin Shi Huang also regulated the local languages into Chinese language and the metering units, which helped to form a centered Chinese culture with different ethnic peoples.

The figures include warriors, chariots, horses, officials, acrobats, strongmen, and musicians. Each face varies from another. Until now over 8,000 soldiers are found.
