Cuzco is located on the 3350m above the sea level in the Andes, and used to be the center of the Inka Empire about 500 years ago, until the Spanish came from the sea. Because so many documents were destroyed after the Spanish occupied the land, it is not possible to find out if the Inka people had had their own language. Still some facts about this vanished culture have been discovered by some academics, one of them is the famous city of Macchu Picchu, which escaped its decline while the Spanish did not find it.
