Although Berne is the capital of Switzerland, the city is not very large. The old town locates on a small half-island, surrounded by river Aar, connected to the outside with serveral bridges. Bears are the symbols of Berne, and the Zytglogge clock tower is one of the most famous marks of the city.
There is something very special about this city, that in the city center passageways are built everywhere for people to walk in without an umbrella in the raining days.
