London Chinatown 2006

Images grabbed amongst the crowds who turn out for London's Chinatown 2006 Chinese New Year celebrations. It's quite an experience wading into throngs of people -- you're carried along as if caught in a strong river current while you walk shoulder-to-shoulder. The only way out is to keep shuffling to the edge of the mass of people where you finally "pop out" & can watch them move. No time to compose here as you're barely able to get your arms up to snap a shot. I loved every minute of it.
