We've not seen our kids in 8 1/2 weeks & phone calls were scant ( though the recruits do suddenly become prolific letter-writers ). There's a palpable excitement in the bleachers when the
flights begin to line up behind us in preparation for the march onto the parade grounds. You feel a tingle as the MTIs bark out a cadance and the lines of blue begin moving in unison.
It's hard to believe that this is now the world of your son/daughter. It's exciting. It's inspiring. This is America at it's best!
