Venice!! What can one say. A fascinating place to visit. So much to see - so little time to do it. It could take a week to do it right.
We toured a glass factory/show room. The island of Burano with its colorful buildings was stunning. The canals of Venice were interesting, although a little air freshener dispenser on the gondola would have been a nice touch. Just traversing the lagoon and Venice in various forms of water transportation provided an endless variety of beauty, history and culture. We stayed at the luxurious San Clemente Palace located on its own private island in the lagoon.
