We spent ten days in the Guanacaste region in northwestern Costa Rica with Kathy Adams Clark, Houston professional photographer. After flying into San Jose, we journeyed to the Gulf of Nicoya and stayed at the water-side resort of La Ensenada. We then traveled to the much cooler and wetter cloud forest region around Monteverde. We completed our trip staying at the beautiful Borinquen Lodge on the foothills of Rincon de la Vieja volcano near our departure city of Liberia. .
