Pinhao and the Douro Valley

Following a Lovely Stay in Porto we Take Another Excellent Train Ride to Pinhao in the Douro Valley. Our hotel was right on the banks of the Douro. We had a great tasting and lunch at Quinta do Crasto with its breath-taking views of the valley. We also visited Quinta do Bomfin, home to Dow's port among others where we had a comprehensive tasting followed by dinner. We finished our time in the Douro and then traveled to Coimbra.
