Robin
After having a less than succesful morning I parked the car near a busy Robin. I used my car as a hide not to scare the bird away, and while it was singing and flying around I waited until it landed on just this perch.

Black-tailed Godwit
This morning I left early to catch the warm light of the rising sun. Reaching my destination I noticed this Godwit being very busy cleaning himself. This allowed me to get close and the glasslands combined with a small river made a nice background. I wanted to show the movement of the cleaning Godwit so I kept the shutterspeed low enough to allow for movement.

Twilight horses
I was on my way to the rendez-vous of a photographers meeting. It was an hour before sunrise and the cold morning poduced some fog over the fields. I was nearly there when I spotted these horses in the morning fog. I parked the car next to the road and was able to capture this photo.

Mauritius
Mauritius being the last tropical island of the journey I wanted to capture the feeling of such a place. Walking along the beachline I was looking for an item I could use as a foreground. This boat was just the item I was looking for. Using a shallow part of the water I was able to reach this position standing in not more than a meter of water.
