At Hoa Lu, we met a group of French travellers on a biking tour of Vietnam, from Saigon (now called Ho Chi Minh City) to Hanoi. But that is a distance of 1,700km! And there were some in the group, including females, whom I guessed might be in their fifties or maybe even sixties. Amazed by their fitness and spirit of adventure!
