By the time we finished rushing through our tour of Mingun Island and boarded the boat for the return ride to Mandalay, the sun had already set but the after-glow was still evident in the sky. Our thoughtful local guide had prepared supplies of Myanmar & Mandalay beer for us to unwind on the boat, in the cool and breezy air of the night. After a tiring afternoon, this was perfect!
