As the boat raced past the houses, I took a quick shot of them. Quick as in "try my luck, shoot and go" and quick as in using a "fast shutter speed of 1/4000 sec". I am actually quite surprised that the picture turned out quite well. The fast shutter speed succeeded in freezing out the motion of the boat, and my hands. We were blessed with good lighting conditions which helped.
