Yehliu (literally meaning "Wild Willows") scenic park is formed by a promontory (formed of white, yellow and brownish sandstone) stretching 1700 meters into the sea, and contains a unique and remarkable variety of rock formations etched by the weather and erosion. One of the most celebrated of the rock formations is the Queen's Head Rock shown in the picture, resembling the profile of the ancient Egyptian sovereign Nefertiti.
