I have walked this coastal path regularly for years now, usually in the morning at dawn, and this was the first time I witnessed such a dramatic scene …

At this point of the coastal walk (near Berlayer Beacon), I have a >180deg view of the sea. The sun was just beginning to rise in the east (on the left of the picture), at the same time those awesome storm clouds (on the right of the picture) were blowing in from the west over the sea. The golden-yellow light of the early sunrise caught and lighted up the storm clouds and distant rain in a luminescent orange glow, making the whole scene looked almost apocalyptic …

Do note that this was a >180deg curved view, the sunrise in the east and approaching storm clouds blowing in from the west were practically facing or opposite to each other on a line, but the scene looked straightened/flattened out in the image because of the stitching with Photoshop used to merge and form the composite image.
