There comes a time when a diver is reminded of where his place is in the overall scheme of things, and this is one of those times. This is a diver's view at the end of a boat dive, as one diver after another is retrieved from the surface. While I wait my turn, I always ponder the sights and scenes of the depths below, the critters I've witnessed with only a glimpse into their world. As I end this last dive of my trip to Isla de Caņo, I wonder of things I have yet to see, the lives of those so hidden to most people, and it is with the greatest pleasure to know them as I do. Please help protect that which is so often out of your sight, but never far from our minds. Thank you, whomever you are, for taking the time here so that I may share with you something that will always occupy a special place in my heart forever.
