This is where the stream from the big waterfall empties out into the Pacific ocean and a roll of my exposed film is going to get wet. That's Kent with my camera gear in the yellow bag and myself just behind. It would be easy to lose one's footing in the strong current and become a floater for a short distance. Since this water comes directly from the forest, you'd think it would be laden with topsoil runoff, until you remember all those roots holding everything together. From here, we boarded the boat for our return to the lodge. Photo by Patrick.
