This poor creature is always alone, never with the other ducks - the results of their abuse can be seen on the back of the neck - devoid of feathers, but the reddish skin may be normal. This loner will often slowly approach to beg tidbits from someone sitting quietly, and apparently successful considering it's girth and halting gait as it waddles about.
