After much searching we were able to locate this bulding on the waterfront of Walu Bay.
In 1972 this building was the location of Whippys Boat Yard. Just a few days before Dad's death the
"Tri-tiki" was on this very boat slip where you can see a boat sitting behind me in the top left photo.
Dads body was found by an employee of Whippy's aboard "Tri-tiki"in the bay straight out from me in the photo at lower right.
A Fijian man working in this building under the present ownership explained to me that in 1972 the bay looked very different. Lots of mangroves in the water that had all been dredged out to make way for boats of all sizes, from dinghies to freighters.
