Some pics of the Red Arrows display from the British Grand Prix at Silverstone taken from the Historic Car pits (an unusual and lucky viewpoint). I had a lens on that worked, which was lucky as a longer lens would have been no use with hindsight. However, as I was really concentrating on taking pics of my friend Simon's car (see https://pbase.com/jensfoto/roller) the camera was set up really badly for this. It's a miracle the exposures ended up as good as this really -- a testament to the flexibility of modern dSLRs!
