If you have seats at the Grand Prix you're lucky. Especially if it is as hot as it was at this year's Britich Grand Prix. It's a fantastic experience with all the noise and bustle too, but photographically it limits you to just the one viewpoint. Still, in my case, getting used to all the things my D200 can do that my Coolpix couldn't, I had a chance to try things out a bit. Funnily enough, I reckon the pics I took with the camera set to a single shot turned out better than the continuous 5fps point and shoot half a gig bits. Funny how thinking, preparation and self reliance beat technology every time...
