Oh, I had one of these in about, er 1963! It was one of the best Christmas Presents I ever had - the ability to draw and by magic was captivating. In fact, I have only tonight discovered the secret of how they worked - simple really! <http://inventors.about.com/library/inventors/bletchasketch.htm

I never could draw anything on one of these things.
Come to think of it, I can't draw anything regardless of how I try!
