It Must Have Been Love

By Roxette

Lay a whisper on my pillow
Leave the winter on the ground
I wake up lonely, there's air of silence
In the bedroom and all around

Touch me now, I close my eyes
And dream away...

It must have been love, but it's over now
It must have been good, but I lost it somehow
It must have been love, but it's over now
From the moment we touched till the time had run out

Make believing we're together
That I'm sheltered by your heart
But in and outside I turn to water
Like a teardrop in your palm

And it's a hard winter's day
I dream away...

It must have been love, but it's over now
It was all that I wanted, now I'm living without
It must have been love, but it's over now
It's where the water flows, it's where the wind blows

It must have been love, but it's over now
It must have been good, but I lost it somehow
It must have been love, but it's over now
>From the moment we touched till the time had run out

It must have been love, but it's over now
It was all that I wanted, now I'm living without
It must have been love, but it's over now
It's where the water flows, it's where the wind blows

I caught Pretty Woman today on Encore
and it made me remember how much I loved that soundtrack.
The movie was the first gift from my daughter's father.
Funny how those things stay with you.

Your life is such a cool soundtrack :-) Beautiful winter scene soon gone!

Beautiful image, Jen. The cool blue tones, snow, and barren trees suggest that Spring hasn't quite arrived in your neck of the woods either ;-)

I know you were looking to capture the sunset for this but
what you've come away with is a beautiful moodscene where
the blue-toned snow quietly reflects the sky and the tiny ripples
on the water send a chilling breeze right through the image.
Those bare trees just add to the strong vision of wintery desolation.

Beautiful Shot. I can almost feel the cold.

Some things will stay with you always. Music can trigger so many memories and feelings...that's one reason I don't like music videos. I'd rather my own memories of a time versus memories of a video montage during that time!
