I guess this is technically three photos, but it is my first "storyboard" so I've given myself a little slack!
The final push to finish preparing over fifty photos for my exhibit took 18 hours with a 45 minute sleep break. Almost an entire season of "Family Guy" and the entire series of "Firefly" played in the background to keep me company. It took another 3 hours to hang the exhibit.
After the hard work, my spirits and energy level were raised by the arrival of my exhibit's first visitors.
Dawn and Lily stopped by to lend some moral support minutes after the last photo was hung. I'm always so happy to see these two, though Lily always looks like she can't decide between smiling and crying in the presence of this strange man! It's perhaps because I get to see them so rarely, which is the same reason why I'm always amazed by how much Lily's grown and learned since our last meeting.
Dawn and Lily were kind and generous, feeding me yummy vietnamese noodles at a local place. My belly was full from the noodles and my soul was filled by the opportunity to watch Lily work on her chopstick skills. She ended up wearing more food than consuming, but that would descibe me on must occasions as well!
