Graduations are funny things. They signal the end but also a beginning. Graduations are happy events but with a component of sadness. I'm sad because I will be saying good-bye to good people. Aleya is one. She and her husband, Farrukh, (who is also a wonderfully kind person) opened up their home tonight to some friends. It was a gathering of friends, many of whom will be heading off in different directions. The center-piece of this celebration was this incedible meal prepared by Aleya. The food was so extensive, I could only capture a portion of it in frame. It warmed my heart, as did the entire evening.
