Some people learn about wine by talking about it. Others learn about it by tasting it. A few will take understanding one step further by making it.
I had dinner tonight with a few old and a couple of new friends. Paul brought a bottle from his personal "winery". It was vintage 2004, Montclair, New Jersey, and it was delicious.
I've always admired Paul for his thirst for life. From the oceans that he explores to his garden at home...from the paths that he skates to the patients who he helps, Paul dives into things deeper than most.
That is taking a true "drink" of life.
