March has arrived and the warmer weather I was hoping for is still not here. I was initially disappointed until I happened upon this scene on the way to work. I had to pull a U-turn on a small street to go back to this area. I almost kept driving but I'm glad I didn't.
I wanted to capture the beauty of the wintery scene that I was seeing. Instead, I found my attention being drawn to the reflections in the water. Sometimes it is not as effective to directly look at the World than to see how it is reflected in what is around you.
I believe that this applies to people as well. A person is the sum of her experiences. Knowing a person is to know the World in which she has lived. She is a mirror of her reality.
