These leaves represent my understanding of various aspects of life.
Some lie in the direct light, revealing each and every detail of each and every vein. Other leaves live completely in the dark, overshadowed by leaves that have risen above. However, most of the leaves live somewhere in the middle-ground, partially in the shade, partially in the light.
The crux is to know which leaves are in the drect light and which ones are in the darkness. In other words, we need to know that we know what we do know...we need to know that we do not know what we do not know...we need to know we might know about some things but we are uncertain. All of these states are interconnected by the stems and veins of the plant. Every leaf affects the others, making all aspects of knowledge interconnected, exercised or deficient.
