First, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you celebrating this holiday today.
It was a very nice gathering with the family which was especially joyous because my grandmother from Taiwan was able to join us for this Thanksgiving.
There was almost too much great food...ALMOST. My sister did particularly well cooking the turkey and my uncle did a beautiful job carving it. From this scene in the kitchen, it looked like the turkey was going to come out in pieces...neanderthal-style. I think I took this photo just as my uncle abandoned the carving knife and went at it mano-a-mano. But when the turkey was presented, it appeared as precise slices that looked like they were carved with a scalpel. There must have been some hocus-pocus when I turned my back.
Anyway, I have much for which to be thankful and many of them were sitting at the table with me tonight.
Cheers!

It is anyway unnecessary to teach a Chineese to slice poultry and present it in an appetizing and articitic colourful way. Chineese are masters in food artistry, hehe.
I love to eat in chineese restaurants, délicious food and easy to digest too.
