It was so nice to have Anna visit and I'm so glad we made it to the Gunks. This is a very special place. The Gunks is an oasis of world-class climbing in an otherwise barren landscape (as far as climbing goes). Most other areas within a day's drive are closed to climbing...to protect us from ourselves, I guess.
