Hi Guys. Was on-call again last night. Gotta say it is kinda tough being stuffed into a little call room after having lava-covered landscapes, fish-filled oceans, and guava-scented forests to muck around in. Oh well. Gotta pay the bills somehow.
I was just taking in some of my surroundings and noticed the books on the shelf. They are the same books that have been there for a long time. Other than the dictionary (which only reminds me of my less-than-stellar spelling skills), all the books were on pediatric medical/psychological diseases and disorders. I guess that makes sense for a pediatric rehabilitation hospital. It was a bit mind-numbing to look at these huge tomes describing diseases by which children can be afflicted. It is scary considering that we know very little about these frightening entities but what we do know fills thousands and thousands of pages. "Knowledge is power..." That's a bit of a cliche but has much truth to it. So, I guess I'd better get started. Now...page 1...
