Michel this undewater Moai it was my dream since I spoted on internet. I'm a scuba diver, so I went to Isla Rapanui there is a dive shop. They took me down to the monument.To my disappointment it was made out of epoxy by chilean archeological expedition to shoot underwater movie. But still is making great impression 40 meters below. Now probably is gone.Island is worth it every single peny to spent to go there. It is "one" on the planet earth.

Mark, thanks for this marvelous gallery. Thor Heyerdahl's book was the first in my early teen-age years that made the biggest impression on my dreams. I never had a chance to go and see this wonderful island but your photos are a big pleasure to watch.
